What “management techniques” are your team using to ensure that all members contribute to a successful project? Planning, organizing and delegating roles are significant in managing teams when undertaking a project. The success of the attributes mentioned above depends on the choice of management techniques the manager decides to put in place to ensure that all members subscribe to the goal and mission of the project. It is essential that the manager communicates the purpose and roles expected of the members to avoid conflicts that arise during the process. These conflicts affect the team and it might be unable to meet development process leading to delays or cancellations of orders placed by the clients. However, consideration is also important when it comes to delegating as it ensures that every person involved has a role to play. By specializing in the activities, it becomes useful to track errors and areas of improvement. During the project of our client, different management techniques were put to use.

Leadership skills and styles directly influence whether or not a project will be successful. Three years ago, my family decided to invest in a new industry and environment. The family was going to get into Real Estate Development and our first project, a Mall, was going to be in a new city. It was a great idea because the opportunity was real, and the feasibility studies revealed that the project would be profitable. The only challenge, however, was that the project would to be in a city which was approximately 1000km away from home. As soon as all other resources had been mobilized and gathered, I recruited and hired an onsite supervisor who would foresee the management of the project in my absence. I, however, made it clear that communication between the team was to be as often and open as possible. I also made arrangements to visit the project site every week, not only to monitor the progress but also to address any issues which arose concerning the work plan. I was sure that the transformational leadership styles which I had adopted including engaging, involving, and receiving team input on project ideas, would be a source of motivation to…
A noble lie is a religion inclined myth that is propagated with the intent of promoting and maintaining harmony, morality and order and lawfulness in a society. The propaganda that is encompassed in the lie is used to push the society towards acting in a socially acceptable manner. A real-world example of a noble lie is when a leader is trying to harmonious relationships in a statement like, ‘do unto other what you want to be done unto you.’ Such propaganda goes a long way in making people to treat each other well. The lie cannot cause any harm and therefore, is considered safe and worthy due to the accrued value systems. It ties into Socrates’ belief that it is acceptable to deceive people if the objective is to avoid social unrest.
Poor health among marginalized population often results from indirect or direct pathways. Direct pathways are those that directly affect an individuals or family whereas indirect pathways are those whose outcomes are not obtained immediately. For instance, increased drug abuse and unprotected sexual activities exposes the user to great risk such as sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and unwanted pregnancies. Most of the drugs abused by individuals are often administered through injection, and as such, the same needle is used by various people. In the event a single individual is suffering from HIV/AIDS. He or she gets to transmit the disease to other individuals through blood. Similarly, High levels of unprotected sex among the LGBT community exposes one to unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections that may lead to death. In most cases, these individuals fear seeking treatment due to ridicule and abuse by the public and some healthcare practitioners.
The million hits song came as a surprise to both fans of Lil Wayne and Bruno Mars as it was unlikely for the two to collaborate in producing a successful truck. However, the Carter IV album is a reflection of Lil Wayne life choices, struggles, and appreciation. The album has featured many artists not forgetting Mars. ‘Mirror’ is one of the singles in the album through which Lil Wayne narrates his past and present life. In the first verse of the song, he sings about his drug problems, betrayal and the pain he underwent. The mood of the song saddens whenever Wayne encounters people affected with drug, pain, and betrayal. The sentiments he quotes in the lyrics “You looking at me, but I am looking at you” and “and I don’t see nobody else/ I see myself.”

Communication is the activity of sending and receiving messages. It is done between the speaker and the audience. The form of communication depends significantly on the audience being addressed. Some audience is far and requires a media for communication while live audience will only need a face to face interaction with the speaker. The physical ability of the audience to hear, talk and see also determines the form of communication to be used. Critical thinking is a form of thinking that involves the thinker to reflect, get an image and reason why something is the way it is (Davis, Zorwick, Roland and Wade, 2016). – Is it possible that groups of interest select their lobbying tactics in response to the different legal terms and legislation that they pursue? In the article “Strategic Lobbying: Demonstrating How Legislative Context Affects Interest Groups’ Lobbying Tactics,” Victor (2007) paints a picture of lobbying as an essential democratic principle. Whereas it is certain that at the thought of the principle of lobbying, one easily thinks of different things, it is factual that the term has only a specific insinuation. However, lobbying means bargaining objectively and is a principle that operates across the political arena (Klingelhöfer, 2018). Thus, it is within the interest of this paper to argue that lobbying is a complicated principle in which individuals, otherwise term as lobbyists, bring to attention the specific injustices that are committed against certain sects of the society and attempt to defend them.
My commitment to a lifestyle that is healthy has a basis on the recognition of its value in reenergizing my life and as a source of inner strength and wellness. This realization is a part of the lessons that I obtained from my struggle against depression at the age of 15. After the experience of this debilitating emotional and mental condition for weeks, and with encouragement and help from close family members and a counselor, I decided to take charge of the situation by understanding the reasons for my persistent sadness and sense of rejection. This focus influenced my awareness of, and sensitivity to, the need to take care of my general wellbeing, including mental, psychological, and emotional. In this context, I took up the practices of Reiki, use of energetic gems and stones, and meditation as ways of promoting my healing and wellness, especially in times of transition and insecurity. With time, I extended this focus of self-care to the physical and nutritional aspects of my life following the truth that all these aspects of care were interdependent in contributing to my overall wellbeing and health.
