– Is it possible that groups of interest select their lobbying tactics in response to the different legal terms and legislation that they pursue? In the article “Strategic Lobbying: Demonstrating How Legislative Context Affects Interest Groups’ Lobbying Tactics,” Victor (2007) paints a picture of lobbying as an essential democratic principle. Whereas it is certain that at the thought of the principle of lobbying, one easily thinks of different things, it is factual that the term has only a specific insinuation. However, lobbying means bargaining objectively and is a principle that operates across the political arena (Klingelhöfer, 2018). Thus, it is within the interest of this paper to argue that lobbying is a complicated principle in which individuals, otherwise term as lobbyists, bring to attention the specific injustices that are committed against certain sects of the society and attempt to defend them.

My commitment to a lifestyle that is healthy has a basis on the recognition of its value in reenergizing my life and as a source of inner strength and wellness. This realization is a part of the lessons that I obtained from my struggle against depression at the age of 15. After the experience of this debilitating emotional and mental condition for weeks, and with encouragement and help from close family members and a counselor, I decided to take charge of the situation by understanding the reasons for my persistent sadness and sense of rejection. This focus influenced my awareness of, and sensitivity to, the need to take care of my general wellbeing, including mental, psychological, and emotional. In this context, I took up the practices of Reiki, use of energetic gems and stones, and meditation as ways of promoting my healing and wellness, especially in times of transition and insecurity. With time, I extended this focus of self-care to the physical and nutritional aspects of my life following the truth that all these aspects of care were interdependent in contributing to my overall wellbeing and health.

Technology is bringing cybernetic experiences closer to the minds and visions of the users. Gaming has taken a different level after the introduction of the three-dimension technique that accords players a near-real experience; the future of media relies on this revolution. Most of the options in the VR allow participants to perform a series of actions and manipulate objects. Communication is at the center of this technology. Although use of VR in digital media is still in its early stages, savvy advertisers are constantly tracking novelties that make videos more immersive and interactive. Virtual Reality means near actuality. The technology creates room for the presentation of an experience that is not real, but takes a practical approach that makes a recipient feel it. Technically, VR is a computer-generated, three-dimensional environment that can be experienced by an individual. The exciting part of VR touches on the degree of engagement (Ensslin, 2017). The participant becomes so immersed in the virtual environment and can access options of changing the outcomes of ongoing events. The future of media depends on a clear understanding and utilization of this technology by major media outlets and other social platforms like Facebook.

Regarding our fast-paced contemporary world, there are a different type of people. Some grow tired of this multifaceted life, and the break-neck sped at which life is changing while other people purpose to have a more laid back and natural existence. There are common and true stories of personalities whom the inauthentic earthly lived trapped and bored them. One story of such an individual is told of McCandless, a young man. The story narrates of his life journey, revelations he encountered during his life and eventual demise he faced in his attempt to rescue himself free of the burdening society. This story is narrated by Krakauer’s novel “Into the Wild.” Although there is a significant number of authors and scholars who feel and argue that McCandless was a perfect example of a contemporary transcendentalist, he is a self-centered and arrogant narcissist.

Iraq was initially under Britain’s rule. Britain’s colonial efforts begun in the year 1921. It forged a monarchy with which to rule over Iraq. This monarchy was headed by King Faisal I. He belonged to the Hashemite family. During the first period, Britain established a monarchy in Iraq under King Faisal I, a leading member of the prestigious Hashemite family (Sanford, pg. 7.). Iraq eventually attained independence in the year 1932.This did not mean that the British evacuated the country. Its military forces continued to occupy the country. Britain saw it necessary to have its military presence in Iraq in order to protect it from German and American invasion. (Ezeibe & Ogbodo, pg. 2).

The incidences of colorectal cancer have increased significantly in both developed and developing countries. This study evaluates the gender- and age-specific survival rates and mortality from 2011 to 2015. Moreover, it estimates the distribution and magnitude of colorectal cancer within the same period. Although there are other studies in this area, this research is unique because it provides age and gender survival rates and mortality from 2011 to 2015 in Saudi Arabia. The results prove that age and gender disparities influence the incidences of colorectal cancer. Men have a higher risk of death than women in Saudi Arabia. The strong design method ensures that the study is scientific. However, variable factors including topography and stage of cancer influence the median survival time. Hence, stakeholders should focus on the age and sex differences in the management of colorectal cancer in the country.
